We are trying out a new class--experimental percussion. In this class, we try out new instruments, and play along with different genres of music, like blue grass, pop country, jazz, and reggae. It's been a lot of fun learning who likes what! It turns out that we all like drumming to reggae! Who knew?

Jon is creating a village protected by an exterior wall. We have been beyond lucky with some of our volunteers! This wonderful pair has creativity to the max, they are patient, and they bring great energy to TURN CCA! Their goal is to help our participants create their artistic vision--and you should see what we all came up with! So, so cool! You NEED to be there! It's going to be awesome. Plus, we have cookies (plus grapes, and pita with hummus). I'm a firm believer in bribing people with delicious food. Here's what you need to know:

Escher Poetry inspired by Robert Frost Please utilize street parking! If it would be beneficial to drop off someo We are 6 months old today, so of course we had a doughnut celebration! I honestly can't believe it. We've grown from 1 client to 10, from 2 staff to 3, and from 1 volunteer to 9 regular volunteers. In fact, we have had over 26 volunteers come through our door since opening day! Our participants have experienced some MAJOR successes, have professionally shown their work during Gallery Stroll nights, and have recently been invited to perform for a VERY important group of people (I'll tell you all about that later)! It has been a busy, wonderful, spirit-lifting 6 months. Thanks to all those people who have participated, helped out, volunteered, and supported this place.
